Track is open to boys and girls grades Pre-K - 6th.  Program is set up to teach boys and girls the
fundamentals of various track events.  These include; shot, discus, long jump, relay, dashes and
small hurtles.  


Cost:  $30 per child and includes a T-Shirt

Marshall Youth Club 2009 Track Program – Volunteers needed.  We are looking for
parent volunteers to help with our 2009 Track Program.



Current openings are:
  • Head coach grades 3rd and under
  • Assistant coaches, timers/event scorers
  • Anyone who does not come forward to help will be assigned to concessions stand duty
    during our home meet.

We expect all parents to participate. No knowledge of track or sports in general is required.  Two
programs: grade 4th through 6th and grade 3rd and under.  

Events for 4th grade through 6th grade:
  • Long jump
  • Shot put
  • Discus
  • 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 4 x 100m relay,  and 1600m run.

Events for 3rd grade and under:  
  • Long jump
  • Shot put
  • Discus
  • 50m dash.
