| Basketball is open to boys and girls grades 1 - 8. Boys and girls in grades 1 & 2 will begin learning the fundamentals of the game. Concentration will be given on dribbling, passing and proper shooting techniques. Boys and girls in grades 3 - 8 will continue to work on the basics along with learning plays. Participants begin playing games against other schools and play in a few tournaments over the season.
